Our multi-player games help you uncover stories and see a new side to places across the motu (land). Navigating clues and directions, you’ll learn, eat and travel like a local.

Kinda like Phil from The Amazing Race, but a bit more cunning. Here to guide you through clues, lure you in to new spots and offer a new perspective, Pīata pulls the strings of our games.

How it works

Friends working on a Hidden Experience challenge

1. Buy ticket

Choose your game and amount of players, and complete the purchase. Once payment is confirmed, you’ll receive a WhatsApp message for your booking.

2. Get ready

Get your phones charged, sneakers on and game faces ready. Your tour group can start as soon as you are at your chosen experience’s starting location.

3. Get started

Ready, set, go! You’ll meet your host, Pīata, via WhatsApp and your game timer will start. You’ll get a run through of how things work.

4. Play

Play the game your way. Some groups make a day out of it, while others sprint between clues. The games are timed which act as your score – incorrect guesses, requests for hints or skipping clues incur time penalties.
